- Talk by Sidney Clarke "Plant Hunting with a Camera" at Roxburghe Hotel
Golf Clubhouse, looking at a selection of attractive European species growing wild in their native habitats, including the Pyrenees and the Alps. Sidney Clarke is the co-author of a couple of books on wild orchids. Members £2, guests £3. |

2008 - A talk by Ken Cox, co-author of the book "Garden Plants for
Scotland", to be held in the Conservatory of the Roxburghe Hotel, Heiton at 6.30pm. Members £4, guests £5. Refreshments are extra. £2 per head, payable on the night. |
| Every weekend from 29th
November until 21st December 2008 - A Magical Encounter with Father
Christmas. Bring children and grandchildren to visit Father Christmas at Floors Castle Garden Centre. Time and price to be confirmed. |
| Wednesday 3rd December 2008
- Christmas Charity Evening at Floors Castle Garden Centre, raising funds
for Borders Search and Rescue. 5.30pm - 7.30pm. Ticket includes Wine and Nibbles. Raffle and Music. £2 per person, children free. |
| Monday 16th February 2009
- Snowdrop Spectacular. Visit to Cambo Estate, St. Andrews to view
snowdrop collection. A very full day: 8am depart, return around 6pm. £30 per person - includes travel, guided tour, soup and filled roll. |
| Friday 10th - Monday 13th
July 2009 - Hampton Court Flower Show. A 4 day trip to the world
famous flower show, plus visits to four other gardens. The price, numbers permitting is £305 per person. In addition, a single room supplement of £60 and insurance of £29 (£49 for those aged 65 and over) will apply. A £75 deposit per person, payable no later than 31st October 2008, is required at time of booking, with the balance becoming due no later than 31st May 2009. The price includes 3 nights dinner, bed and breakfast in the Holiday Inn Sutton. All rooms with private facilities. Admission to all the gardens, luxury coach travel and the services of an experienced guide. |
